Amateur ‘Race to Dubai’ Ends at Els Club

One of Europe's largest amateur golf competitions came to an exciting close this week at Dubai Sports City's Els Club. The Matchplay Championship Grand Final was won by Andy Billson and Andy Castell from Northamptonshire in the UK. The event is the culmination of a year of hard work from the cream of Europe's amateur players. Those who entered the amateur 'Race to Dubai' and won a place in the finals at the Els Club were treated to complimentary flights and accommodation. Sky Sports cameras were there to capture all the action, giving amateurs a taste of what it is like to play like the professionals!
